Newton North Concert Attendance Policy
Every performer is an important part of every performance, and the quality of the performance and the experience for everyone involved is diminished when anyone is missing.
Newton North music students are required to attend all concerts in which their group performs including evening concerts, in-school performances, and festivals.
Students are required to remain for the entirety of any concert in which they participate.
Illnesses and religious commitments are the only absences which will be excused.
Any unexcused absence will result in a change in the term grade.
The music calendar for the school year is listed above, and is there to aid students and families in their planning for work, sports, vacations, and other appointments through the coming year.
All rehearsals and performances currently scheduled are included. Any additions and/or deletions will be sent home through the students and posted on the NNHS website.
